PS Now Adding Six New Games This January

PS Now Getting Six New Games

PS Now is welcoming another six games coming 01/04, with Mortal Kombat 11 and Final Fantasy XII leading the charge. Mortal Kombat 11 remains an absolutely fantastic fighting game that I bust out every now and against as a more casual fan of fighting games. Final Fantasy XII is, of course, one of the best JRPGs out there still. Personally, I don’t think it is as good as X, but it is still a solid JRPG.

Here are all six games joining PS Now:

This certainly isn’t the biggest haul out there, but these are still solid games. Kerbal Space Program is a well-loved little indie game, and it is certainly worth trying out. Super Time Force Ultra is also an enjoyable indie game with some great 2D action.

I haven’t had the chance to play Fury Unleashed, so I might be tempted to give it a try since I can for free now.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age remasters

PS Now still has some work to do if Sony ever wants the service to actually to compete with GamePass. I don’t think it is as bad as some do. With the addition of being able to download PS4 games, the service is actually worth looking at now. I would love to also be able to download PS3, but I guess I’ll take what I can get.

Something I hope I can get is the addition of more retro games. PS Now could stand out more if it added more PS2 and PS1 games. Those were incredibly popular consoles, and people would love to be able to easily play some of those old games again. Hopefully, Sony is considering that as they try to make the service more appealing.
