Grand Theft Revolver
There have been a few crossover events between Red Dead Redemption 2 and Grand Theft Auto V. There was that scavenger hunt a while back that didn’t reference RDR2 by name, but was heavily suggested. After finding the Double-Action Revolver in GTA Online and completing a challenge with it, it unlocks in Red Dead Online. Now there is a new crossover event that follows a similar pattern. Through the new Diamond Casino update, GTA Online players will be able to unlock Lowry’s Revolver in Red Dead Online.
This update adds the Serial Killer Mystery mission where you must hunt down a serial killer in Blaine County, but that seems like some pretty ironic justice coming from a GTA player, right? Anyway, after completing the mission, you get the Navy Revolver. Then players must complete the Navy Revolver challenge by getting 50 kills with the gun. That will earn the player $250,000 and allow Lowry’s Revolver to become available in Red Dead Online. For that to happen, your accounts must be linked by the Rockstar Social Club.
Getting Lowry’s Revolver in Red Dead Online from that point is pretty simple. Southwest of Valetine, along the A and L coordinates, there is a building with a cellar. That is where the revolver can be found. Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Stadia.
