Ori and the Will of the Wisps Will Appear at the Game Awards

Well, If the Wisps Will It…

Ori and the Blind Forest first came out pretty early in the run of the Xbox One. It has been highly praised for pretty much everything. The art direction, music, atmosphere, and gameplay all scored major points with fans and critics. Since its debut in 2015, fans have been wondering about a sequel. Well, we glimpsed Ori and the Will of the Wisps way back at E3 2017 when it was revealed, but now we will get another look next month at the Game Awards apparently.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps

According to Canadian ambassador to gaming Geoff Keighley, Moon Studios will be showing off their new game at the Game Awards. Geoff Keighley is basically the father of the Game Awards and has been with it since it existed as the Spike Video Game Awards when it started in 2003. Through thick and thin, Geoff Keighley has been there, so we know we can take his word for it. Also, look at the image he shared. Images don’t lie, ever.

Now we just have to wait and see what details about the game will be revealed. Will it launch exclusively on Xbox One or Xbox Scarlett? Will it launch on multiple platforms? When will it launch? Who is Purple Guy? For other news on awards in gaming, check out the winners of the Golden Joystick Awards from last night.
