Zombies and Controller Support are Coming to Call of Duty: Mobile
Call of Duty: Mobile will be getting some more content according to Activision, including the Zombies game mode and controller support. Not all controllers have been confirmed but it’s likely that if your gamepad is Bluetooth enabled, it should work. The upcoming changes go live through the Call of Duty: Mobile battle pass that will drop in most regions on November 23rd, but for the PST zone, it will go live late on November 22nd. The update will also bring fixes and new maps to Call of Duty: Mobile, available on iOS and Android.
Activision specified in a Reddit post on r/CallofDutyMobile the specific times for each region that gamers can expect these changes to go live in Call of Duty: Mobile:
- Los Angeles: Nov 22 – 21:00 PST
- New York: Nov 23 – 00:00 EST
- Sao Paulo: Nov 23 – 2:00 BRT
- London: Nov 23- 5:00 GMT
- Stockholm: Nov 23 – 6:00 CET
- Berlin: Nov 23 – 6:00 CET
- Moscow: Nov 23 – 8:00 MSK
- New Delhi: Nov 23 – 10:30 IST
- Sydney: Nov 23 – 16:00 AEDT
- Tokyo: Nov 23 – 14:00 JST
According to the developers, these time zones should roughly lineup so that each region gains access to the new battle pass content releasing. Call of Duty: Mobile has received many small updates since it launched, but this update brings a sizable chunk of content to the game. The controller support will help gamers who rely on gamepads to get more competitive. It is expected that gamers using a controller on Call of Duty: Mobile will be matched with each other and not people using touch controls, so those gamers won’t get an unfair advantage.
Apparently Activision will be unveiling more information about the upcoming maps and modes tomorrow but their video displaying the time zones turned from yellow to blood red, getting Call of Duty: Mobile gamers hyped for the release.
