Focus Home Interactive’s 2019 Titles Such as GreedFall Have Been Huge Commercial Hits
French publisher Focus Home Interactive has had a pretty good 2019 with published games such as GreedFall and A Plague Tale: Innocence getting solid reviews and selling well.
The publisher announced on Thursday that both games had successful launches but didn’t provide specific sales figures.
According to a press release, Focus Home’s revenues in Q2 of the 2019/2020 fiscal year increased by 135% (reportedly €37.2 million) when compared to the same quarter in the previous fiscal year. Focus Home said that this significant increase was driven by GreedFall, a game which the publisher said “showed a stunning start and beat expectations.”
As for A Plague Tale: Innocence, Focus Home executive Jurgen Goeldner mentioned that it and World War Z both sold well at launch.
If you’re interested in getting GreedFall then we got a review you can read before making that purchase. We also have a review for A Plague Tale: Innocence for anyone thinking of picking that game up.
What do you think of this sales news? Do you think either of these games are getting sequels? If so, what are ways you think that the sequels could improve on the originals?
