Crash Team Racing is Expected to Raise $1 Million for Returning Veterans
Crash Team Racing plans on raising $1 million for The Call of Duty Endowment which helps with veteran employment. The charity exclusive Firehawk Kart costs $4.99 and will remain in the shop until Beenox and Activision collect the necessary funds. The limited-edition kart is inspired by an airplane propeller with a tongue protruding from the familiar toothy nose cone grin. Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled is already available on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled continues the theme of Activision games giving back to veterans through The Call of Duty Endowment which we can all agree is an admirable cause. They succeed in meeting their sales goals in each Call of Duty game that offers such content and it’s likely that the Firehawk Kart will sell out in no time. The game has gotten a lot of criticism since implementing microtransactions but we think this one is something most gamers can support and many feel happy purchasing.
The Firehawk Kart is available exclusively in the US and UK regions as long as it hasn’t made $1 million and gamers can get it now. This is the first official airplane-themed kart in the game but we hope there are future karts with propeller based designs for any gamers who aren’t able to buy the awesome looking Firehawk Kart. Gamers are already racing through the Spooky Grand Prix and the Firehawk is another fun kart to fly around the halloween themed courses in.
