Clean, Yet Confusing
Borderlands 3 is famous for a lot of things, but nothing stands out quite like the game’s graphics. They’re bright, explosive, and impossible to miss. So anyways, this mod turns the game into a completely featureless wasteland, just like Limbo! Also, this drastic move somehow works in the game’s favor?
You can check out the full five minute video below, courtesy of Eurogamer and PC Gamer. The game goes from a zany, madcap mess to a haunting tour through a murderous wasteland. I mean, it was still a murderous wasteland before, but in a wacky way. Oh, and you can grab the mod for yourself here if you’re playing the PC version of the game.
While this is far from the only mod available for Borderlands 3, it’s definitely the most distinctive one. Other contenders include a trainer mode, a set of level 50 save files, and an intro skipper. I’m not you can apply them all at once, but the idea of leaping right into a full-powered character tearing apart a grey-shaded nightmare with cheats enabled does sound like a truly unique experience.
