God of War “Raising Kratos” Documentary Now Up on YouTube

Two-Hour God of War Documentary Now Available to Watch

As we mentioned last month on the games’ one-year anniversary, “Raising Kratos,” the God of War documentary, has officially gone live on the YouTube PlayStation channel.

Boasting a two-hour run time, Raising Kratos is an in-depth look at the making of 2018’s stunning revival of one of gaming’s most recognizable characters. Below is the doc’s description:

“Raising Kratos documents the five-year, herculean effort to reinvent one of the greatest stories in gaming, God of War. Facing an unknown future, Santa Monica Studio took a massive risk, fundamentally changing their beloved franchise and re-establishing their rightful place in video game history. More than just a “making of,” this cinematic journey of second chances rooted in family, sacrifice, struggle and doubt follows game director Cory Barlog and those who chase perfection in art and storytelling. Witness the incredible defeats, the unpredictable outcomes and the down-to-the-wire tension on full display in this true-life redemption story.”

The five-year journey was worth it for Sony Santa Monica, as God of War released to incredible praise across the industry and its fans. Here at COGconnected, we called it the best God of War game and that “Sony Santa Monica has clearly put love into this latest title of the series and given both longtime fans and newcomers a monumental gaming achievement.” Read the full review here.
