Director of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Is “Super Confident” About the Game

Director Says Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Is “Something That’s Really, Really Fun”

In a recent earnings call EA shared that they have some high expectations for Respawn’s upcoming title Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and are predicting that it will sell up to 8 million units. This doesn’t seem far fetched either based on the hype for the game either. Now, Stig Asmussen, the director of the game, is raising this excitement to new levels by expressing his feelings about the game.

Just last month Respawn and EA revealed the very first look at Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and since then the game shows no signs of losing steam in the popularity department. In a recent interview with the official PlayStation Magazine Stig Amussen, director of the upcoming title, shared that he’s “super confident” about the content. Here’s what he had to say, “To say we’re a mash-up crew is an understatement, but everybody has a really high pedigree. When I come into work every day and I feel the vibe and I feel the energy in the studio and I actually get my hands on the controller and I see that we’re making something that’s really, really fun it makes me feel great, it lets me know we’re on the right track, and let me tell you I’m super-confident we’re onto something.”

Of course it certainly doesn’t help when the team working on the game is full of talented and passionate veterans of the industry. “That’s something you don’t really get to do very much in this industry. We had the ability to build slow and steady, and that’s something you never get to do in games. We picked up great veterans in the industry. People that worked on games like Uncharted, God Of War, Batman, BioShock, Metal Gear, and, of course, Titanfall, and Call Of Duty.”

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is currently set to release on November 15 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Are you excited to get your hands on the upcoming Star Wars title? Let us know in the comments below and don’t forget to keep it locked for updates!
