Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Will Be Revealed Next Week

Today, We Reveal the Reveal Date of the Game We Already Know About

There’s a challenge for you, Activision. Tell us something we don’t know. Because of the insider information basically given out to gaming news outlets, we feel like we already know what to expect from the new CoD. We learned yesterday that it will be called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, for better or worse. Before that, we knew that it would be a return to the Modern Warfare series, which will apparently be a soft reboot. And because of the franchise’s annual release, we know it will be coming out between approximately November 3-16.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

A lot of rumors have been circulating that story of Modern Warfare will be heavily inspired by the Modern Warfare 2 mission No Russian. No Russian was a super controversial mission. When starting the campaign, the game even asked the player if they wanted to skip it. In the mission, the player takes on the role of a CIA agent who goes undercover as a Russian terrorist as the group walks through an airport gunning down civilians. What does it mean for this mission to inspire the story of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare?

Modern Warfare will apparently be revealed on May 30th, but what exactly is there left to reveal? We may get a specific release date, maybe some game footage. We just have to wait a few days. The game will also be shown off at E3.
