No Man’s Sky Receiving VR Support with “Beyond” Update

No Man’s Sky Comes Closer to the Game It Was Meant to Be

Today during PlayStation’s first State of Play stream, Hello Games confirmed that the incoming ‘Beyond’ update will bring PSVR support to No Man’s Sky.

The reveal trailer shows players wandering various planets, observing wildlife and flying through space in VR. This is the second major feature of the Beyond update announced, the first being a brand new multiplayer experience. There’s still a third feature to be announced, but no word on what that is yet.

No Man's Sky Abyss Update

No Man’s Sky has had quite an interesting post-launch journey and the new update seems like it’s set to be a big glow-up moment for the game. Each update seems to bring it more and more in-line with what fans were expecting at launch.

No Man’s Sky is currently available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Let us know if you’ll be checking it out in VR in the comments!
