The Division 2 Director in Awe of Death Stranding, Says It’s “Mind-blowing”

Kojima Recently Showed off Death Stranding to the Directors of the Division 2

Now it’s no secret that Hideo Kojima has been showing off his upcoming creation Death Stranding to a variety of major players in the industry, most recently of which were the developers of The Division 2. Not a single person that’s seen the game so far has been disappointed and it seems that the Creative Director over at Ubisoft, Julian Gerighty, is no different.

In a recent tweet, Julian Gerighty posted a picture with Hideo Kojima, sharing that he was able to get a look at the demo for Death Stranding. Let’s just say that he seems more than a little enamoured with the game, stating it will be “timeless”. Additionally he shared with fans that the game will be absolutely fantastic, mentioning that it’s “mind-blowing”. You can check out the tweet below.

Of course, this isn’t the first time developers have gotten a look at Death Stranding. Back in January both Control’s Remedy Studios and Horizon Zero Dawn’s Guerilla Games were able to take a look at the game and both stated that they were very impressed by what they saw. Additionally, just last month the Metal Gear Solid movie director Jordan Vogt-Roberts told fans that they weren’t ready for the game, and that “the world is next-level immaculate.”

At this time Death Stranding doesn’t yet have a release date, though previously Kojima has teased a possible 2019 release date. With that said, he recently stated that the game was taking a bit longer than originally expected and was a little behind schedule. The Division 2 on the other hand is set to release in just a few days time, on March 15th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
