World War Z may represent a next step in the zombie-killing genre. It’s a co-op shooter, to no one’s surprise, but aims to switch up the formula with a new take on PvP. Also, a unique and captivating story might help. Everyone can play that story in April.
According to the official Twitter account. “The zombie slaying begins on April 16! #OutliveTheDead,” and offers a bonus pack for anyone who pre-orders because that’s just how pre-orders work now. So, what is the Lobo Pack? It’s three gold guns and a shove to carry throughout the variety of infested locations available at launch.

The game will feature several modes at launch, including the unique PvPvZ that pits players against players against zombies. You’ll also see classic Deathmatch, King of the Hill, and more. Will it be enough to fill the Left 4 Dead void. Many IPs have tried and missed the mark, but we shall see.
