Overcooked 2 Celebrates Chinese New Year With Free Update

More Free Content Now Available for Overcooked 2

As was previously teased, Overcooked 2 is celebrating Chinese New Year with a free update that adds new kitchens, new recipes, new chefs, and a whole new game mode. It’s available right now on all platforms.

This new seasonal piece of content adds a brand new map with seven new kitchens themed around Chinese New Year. There are also two new recipes being added to the mix: fruit platter and hot pot! Two new chefs are also joining the fray, the fiery ornate Chinese dragon and the Chinese New Year pig chef.

The new update also brings a new mode called Survival Mode, where players “must serve as many dishes as possible in the time given, with each dish served adding precious seconds to the timer.” Survival Mode can be selected for all kitchens in the main game, the Surf ‘n’ Turf DLC and both seasonal updates.
