Crackdown 3 Might Launch With 2,000 Gamerscore

Crackdown 3’s Campaign and Multiplayer Modes to Have Separate Achievements

After what feels like an eternity, Crackdown 3 is finally launching on February 15th, 2019 for the Xbox One and PC as a Play Anywhere title. As an extra bonus for the long wait, Achievement hunters might have an extra 1,000 Gamerscore to look forward to when playing the game.

Crackdown 3

You see, Crackdown 3 comes loaded with two different game modes: Campaign and Wrecking Zone. The campaign is pretty self-explanatory but Wrecking Zone is the multiplayer mode that features the much-talked-about cloud-based destruction. From what we understand, both modes will have their own Achievement list, each tallying 1,000 Gamerscore.

This is evidenced by Twitter user @Klobrille, who is known for leaking Xbox news before it is officially announced. They suggest that the game will launch with 2,000 Gamerscore, although they aren’t able to confirm it.

What’s also interesting is that the Achievement list for the game was scanned in as Crackdown 3: Campaign. That list has a total of 70 Achievements equaling 1,000 Gamerscore. Reading through the descriptions reveal no mention of Wrecking Zone at all. However, the store listing for the game shows it as a bundle containing Crackdown 3: Campaign and Crackdown 3: Wrecking Zone. This suggests that Wrecking Zone will have its own set of Achievements to collect.

A new episode of Inside Xbox is set to debut on Tuesday, February 5th which should give us an official answer for this Achievement business.

Crackdown 3’s campaign was developed by Sumo Digital, while Reagent Games and Ruffian Games handled the multiplayer. Are you looking forward to finally playing it? Let us know in the comments section below.
