Blazing Chrome Looks Like A Badass Tribute To Retro Run ‘n’ Guns

Blazing Chrome Comes to PC and Consoles Early This Year

Brazilian indie developer duo JoyMasher are hard at work on a shiny new shoot ’em up called Blazing Chrome that looks like a worthy tribute to the sidescrolling run ‘n’ gun games it’s influenced by.

Just yesterday the developer released a new gameplay video showing off playable characters and missions before jumping into some explosive 60FPS side-scrolling action.

The game’s story revolves around Mavra and Doyle, two badass rebels on a suicide mission to destroy their robot overlord’s power plant and save humanity from the brink of extinction. It’ll include 5 levels of robot-destroying hell filled with guns, mechs, guns, hoverbikes, more guns, and local co-op!

Unfortunately there’s no official release date yet, but Blazing Chrome is aiming for a PC, PS4 and Nintendo Switch release “soon,” as the developers are hard at work putting the finishing touches of the game now. Let us know if you’re looking forward to Blazing Chrome in the comments!
