9 New Games Hit Playstation Now in January, Including ‘Prey’

More PS4 Games Reach the Subscription Service

Another month, another list of games. PlayStation Now has received another update to its streaming library. Players can stream additional items to their hearts’ content, including the likes of Prey and Metro.

With Metro: Exodus on the horizon, now’s a good time to dive into an experience like Metro 2033: Redux. The post-apocalyptic shooter is now available for the $9.99 monthly price tag, alongside some other worthwhile titles.

  • Chess Ultra (PS4)
  • God Eater 2: Rage Burst
  • Lock’s Quest
  • Metro 2033 Redux
  • Onechanbara Z2: Chaos
  • Prey
  • Project Cars 2
  • Skydrift
  • Thunder Wolves

There was a time when PS Now only inducted classic games into its ranks. Sony has gotten more progressive and plans to include more PS4 games as time goes on. Eventually, as the service evolves, we may see some additional PS4 exclusives. Now that PS4 players can download games from the service, it can actually compete with Xbox Game Pass. The next step is full-blown PS4 exclusives on launch day, which doesn’t seem likely, but you never know.

If you’re unsure what else is worth picking up on PS Now, the official blog published December’s list of most played games.

  • Mafia III
  • For Honor
  • Red Dead Redemption
  • NBA 2K16
  • WWE 2K16
  • Steep
  • Sniper Elite IV
  • Mortal Kombat
  • The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited
  • Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution

If you have yet to experience PlayStation Now and its library of 700+ games, there’s a free trial available to all newbies. If you used up that free trial prior to October, note that the trial has been reset, so you’re free to double dip.
