Long-Awaited Indie Title “Below” Surfacing Very Soon

Below Rises From The Proverbial Grave

Developer Capybara Games has officially announced that their long-awaited game “Below” will finally be making it’s way to Steam and Xbox One very imminently.

As you can see in the tweet above, the game will arrive on December 14th. The top-down action-adventure roguelike has been delayed numerous times, most recently in 2016, and made it’s most recent public appearance at this year’s GDC.

The game was announced during Microsoft’s E3 conference way back in 2013 and is scored by Jim Guthrie, who provided the score for another Capybara title, Superbrothers: Sword & Sorcery EP, and provided the score for the documentary Indie Game: The Movie.

Check out the game’s steam description here:

Test your adventurer mettle against The Isle’s procedural subterranean labyrinths. Explore a large, interconnected underworld crawling with cunning creatures, deadly traps, and a mysterious shadowy presence. Survive the perils of The Depths and unearth what lies below… or die trying. Below embraces exploration and discovery — illuminate the path ahead, find hidden passages and unravel the deepest mysteries hidden in the darkness your own way.
