New Soul Calibur VI Leak May Have Just Confirmed Two More Exciting Characters

Latest Soul Calibur VI Leak Shows off Two More Playable Characters

Soul Calibur VI is set to release in epic fashion next month and while there’s plenty of reasons to get excited, we still don’t know all of the characters on the roster. During a recent competitive event in Melbourne this weekend, screenshots were captured and leaked showing off two more players coming to the latest game in the series.

According to a report from Resetera, there may be two fan favorite characters making a return to Soul Calibur VI. Which ones are they? None other than Raphael and Cervantes! As you may know if you’ve been a fan of the series for quite some time, Raphael made his debut in Soul Calibur II, and has continued to make countless appearances in the games since. Cervantes on the other hand has been around since Soul Edge. These two have very different play styles, with Raphael being a young swordsman who’s quick and agile, and Cervantes who is huge in stature and carries massive swords. Both Raphael and Cervantes look better than ever in this latest leak, and if you don’t believe me, you can check out the screenshots below.

A gameplay video was also captured and leaked online, however it is not available to view anymore, which suggests Bandai Namco made quick work of getting it removed. It will be interesting to see if they’ll release an official trailer showing off these two characters in action. Fingers crossed that we won’t have to wait too long.

Soul Calibur VI is set to release on October 19th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Are you excited to see the return of Cervantes and Raphael? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and don’t forget to keep it locked for updates!
