Zombies Learn the Value of Friendship in World War Z
Popular zombie lore novel and mediocre-at-best reason to put Brad Pitt in a movie World War Z is receiving a video game adaptation, and the developer has released a new trailer at Gamescom 2018 today.
World War Z is promising hundreds of zombies on screen at a time which, just like in the mediocre Brad Pitt movie, will travel in outrageously sized hordes and form giant mountains of the undead in their effort to add the player to their masses. Different types of zombies will come into play in some levels, the trailer showing one zombie leaping through the air like a majestic lion, another stomping its feet and aggressively rushing the player.
The game also features an “advanced gore system” that sees zombie limbs fly off as you shoot them and burst into pieces when met with explosive weaponry.
World War Z was announced at the 2017 game awards, and our own James Paley got to try it out this year at E3! The game doesn’t have a release date yet, but it’s expected to launch sometime in 2019 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
