Free-to-play Battle Royale pioneer H1Z1 is finally leaving open beta on PS4 today and brings with it a bevy of new content, including a multi-tier battle pass for players to blast their way through.

H1Z1’s first Battle Pass is here, allowing PS4 players to unlock 30 unique rewards across three different lines including free, premium, and a specific line for PS+ members. It’ll run players $5.49 USD and carry progression between lines. Along with this comes two new launch bundles, one of which is the Viper Starter bundle ($4.99 USD), the other being the Hardline Deluxe Bundle ($34.99 USD) which includes the Premium Battle Pass. Both bundles are discounted until September 4th on the Playstation store – 10% for regular PSN members, and 15% for PS+ subscribers.

Additionally, a new RPG and SOCOM sniper rifle are joining the game in gold tier and purple tier airdrops respectively. The RPG is mainly for taking out enemy vehicles, and the SOCOM rifle offers a new option for long-range shootouts. A new vehicle, the ARV, has also joined the game, and can fit a full team of five with a hatch in the top for squad members to fire out of.

H1Z1 Producer Terrence Yee said of the launch “Everyone here at Daybreak Games is thrilled with the overwhelmingly positive response to H1Z1’s debut on PS4. Ten million new players in our first month in Open Beta is an incredible milestone, and our entire development team has worked tirelessly to build on that early success. We’re beyond excited to officially launch H1Z1 on PS4—this is our fully realized vision for
battle royale on console.”
