The Warthog Returns to Forza
A sizable collection of Forza Horizon 4 images have popped up and one of them depicts a crossover with Microsoft’s other flagship franchise.
After fans were able to get their hands on (and naturally pick apart) some of the game’s pre-load files back in June, one of the images shows Master Chief driving his trusty Warthog on the surface of a Halo ring. Fans have been theorizing that it may all be a big reference to The Silent Cartographer, the fourth mission from the original Halo.
Fans have also found a map icon that bears a striking resemblance to Halo’s Pelican, and past icons that take players to DLC related area, implying an entire area dedicated to the series.
Series developer Turn 10 was acquired by Microsoft earlier this year, and recently removed microtransactions from last year’s Forza Motorsport 7. Forza Horizon 4 is also set to include a Crazy Taxi-esque mode, along with various seasons that will affect gameplay.
Forza Horizon 4 comes to PC and Xbox One this October 2nd. Let us know what you think in the comments, and stay tuned to COGconnected for all the latest gaming news!
