Three Punishing Journeys in One Hard Package
To the clandestine warriors, undead, and gluttons for punishment; Bandai Namco, the renown video game publisher, and developer has officially unveiled The Dark Souls Trilogy for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
According to a press release, Bandai Namco will make the Dark Souls Trilogy available on October 19, 2018. Yet another addition to the month of Broketober. Newcomers and fans alike can rejoice and look forward to all games and their respective DLC. Needless to say, gamers who’ve never experienced a minute of this action-RPG have no better way of getting started.
“The DARK SOULS Trilogy gives those who haven’t played the DARK SOULS series a great opportunity to jump in and experience what has become one of the most influential video game series of the past decade,” said Jenn Tsang, Marketing Brand Manager for BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc, in a press release. “The magic of DARK SOULS lies within its ability to challenge players with highly rewarding gameplay and deliver a euphoric sense of accomplishment after beating a particularly tough boss, or area in the game. We hope to share that feeling with new players through DARK SOULS Trilogy.”
Furthermore, this new release provides all three games in a unique Steelbook case. We’re talking Dark Souls: Remastered, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, and Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades Edition. That is well over a hundred boss battles in a franchise that has spanned 7 years. Fortunately, we have a review for every single release since the first.
