After Seven Years, the Next Entry in the Series Will Launch Later This Year!
Warriors Orochi 4, the next installment in the hack & slash series, is going to come out on October 16th in North America and three days later in Europe. The upcoming game will add a new feature for the combat system along with a new playable character, the mythical Greek god Zeus.
The game’s roster has 170 playable characters and the Greek god looks like a formidable addition. Zeus’ main weapon is the Keravnos, a magical staff that gives him the ability to call down lightning on his enemies (which definitely could’ve been useful in God of War III!).
Notably, players will be able to play Warriors Orochi 4 either solo or in co-op mode.
The upcoming beat ’em up will also have a new “Magic” abilities system. These powerful abilities come from mystical artifacts called “Sacred Treasures” and have been bestowed onto all the playable characters. You’ll be able to use their regular moveset along with these special, magical powers and they can even be used in conjunction with the magic powers of your allies.
