Two New Operators, A Beautiful Italian Villa Map & More!
The latest update for Rainbow Six Siege has officially launched and it’s bringing a ton of new content to the game along with several bug fixes. Titled “Operation Para Bellum”, the most significant part of the update adds two new operators: Maestro & Alibi.
We’ve written about Alibi before so we’ll give you the rundown on Maestro: he’s a defensive character that uses a remote-controlled turret that can fire lasers beams, see through smoke & spy on other players. His turret is also invulnerable to bullets & melee attacks until it exposes its core when firing its lasers.
The update also adds a new map that’s set in a luxurious Italian villa in the Tuscan countryside that belongs to an Italian mafia family that specializes in smuggling.
Para Bellum also adds a new skin set for an British operator named “Thatcher”. The set is inspired by the famous Special Air Service operation codenamed “Operation Nimrod”. There’s also a bug reporting program called “R6Fix” that’ll be added with the update and it can be used during live games.
The rest of the update’s features is the usual stuff: new weapon skins, character balancing, bug fixes and general improvements.
Rainbow Six Siege is out now for the PC, PS4 & Xbox One.
