Elder Scrolls VI Is Coming…Eventually
After showing off a ton of new games including Bethesda Studios’ first original franchise in 25 years and all the info you could possibly need on Fallout 76, Todd Howard decided to absolutely break the internet by announcing that Skyrim successor Elder Scrolls VI is indeed in development.
Referring to the title as “the one you’ve all been asking about,” which I hope is the official subtitle of the game, Todd introduced the short trailer above which simply shows a beautiful fantasy looking vista as the Elder Scrolls anthem swelled before cutting to black.
That is literally all that was announced on the game, so it’s safe to assume it’s quite early in development, and won’t be released for at least a year. Hopefully Elder Scrolls: Blades and Skyrim: Very Special Edition will be enough to tide us over until then.
