Time to Brush Up On Your Elvish
ZeniMax Online has released a stunningly beautiful new trailer for the latest Elder Scrolls Online expansion, Summerset. The new trailer serves as an exciting set up for the expansion’s plot, which sees players defending the Summerset Isle, home of the High Elves, from “a Daedric threat.”
The expansion is set to include an entirely new explorable zone, the titular Summerset Isles, which include “shining cities, vibrant forests, tropical lagoons, coral caves, mysterious ruins, and more.” A handful of new features are coming to the MMO as well, including an exciting new combat Skill Line for the mysterious Psijic Order, which revolves around time-based powers such as time stopping and rewinding time to restore health, stamina, and magicka. Jewelry Crafting is being added to the game as well, complete with its own dedicated Skill Line. There’s also a new 12-player Trial in the new barricaded city of Cloudrest, as well as a brand new group PvE challenge referred to as Abyssal Geysers.
ESO’s “Update 18” also drops today, bestowing to players some PvP additions and combat adjustments, Crown store gifting, and team-based PvP mode Battlegrounds making the jump to base game.
The Summerset expansion also promises new World Bosses, Public Dungeons, Delves, item sets, collectibles, and styles. The add-on is available as of today for PC and Mac players, and will drop on the PS4 and Xbox One on June 5. It’s available in standard or collectors editions.
