Death Stranding May Get Quiet
There are plenty of mysteries surrounding Death Stranding, the next title by Hideo Kojima. Time after time, the legendary game creator has provided teases, and that’s how we’ve put together our speculation. However, this time, Metal Gear Solid V’s Quiet posited the latest mystery via Twitter.
Voice actress Stephanie Joosten, who provided the motion capture work and voice for Metal Gear Solid V’s superpowered sniper, delivered a new set of images to Twitter. In true Kojima fashion, she simply posted the images and didn’t say a darn thing. Except, these images were remarkably similar to everything we’ve seen from Death Stranding thus far. That familiar murky setting is prevalent.

This wouldn’t be the first time Joosten tweeted Death Stranding-related imagery. At one point, she posted a picture of herself beside a Mads Mikkelsen poster, who’s already confirmed as a main character. Of course, we hope for more concrete news as we enter 2018.
If you couple Joosten’s tease with the reveal of a female Ludens at the beginning of the year, then we may be witnessing a link. The impending reveal of a female protagonist for Death Stranding has spawned many rumors. There was that Emma Stone rumor a while back, but maybe Joosten will fill a primary role? Perhaps it will be one where she’s allowed to speak. Check back for updates as we dive into 2018 reveals.
Happy gaming.
