Cartoon Network Celebrates the Premiere of the Second Season of Their All-New Reboot by Launching Two Powerpuff Girls LEGO Dimensions Packs
What better way to celebrate a reboot of a smash-hit franchise than launching an array of game goodies alongside it? Cartoon Network announces two new Powerpuff Girls LEGO Dimensions packs that will be launching after the premiere of the reboot’s second season, featuring two packs based on the colorful, cartoony world of Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup.
LEGO’s toy and video game hybrid will feature all three of The Powerpuff Girls with both a Team Pack and a Fun Pack, the former including Blossom and Bubbles minifigures and the latter coming along with a Buttercup minifigure. Both packs will let players access the Townsville hub where they can enjoy flying around the town and sightseeing iconic areas like Pokey Oaks Elementary, Rainbow Land, and, of course, Professor Utonium’s laboratory!
No release date has been given yet, but players can most likely expect the packs to become available along with the Wave 9 release later in the year. Based on leaked designs, as seen in the picture below, we already know that they’re going to be pretty darn cute. We can also assume that the new Townsville area will be based around the reboot and not the original series.
