The New Gameplay Trailer Shows Us What Firestorm Can Do!
Injustice 2 is due out on May 16th and the roster just got updated! The newest add was recently revealed earlier this week by the folks over at Up Up Down Down. It was confirmed that the game would be adding the young spitfire Firestorm to the line up. Sounds hot! Fire puns? No? Alright.
Right after this announcement fans were given a closer look at what he brings to the table in his gameplay trailer. The trailer showed a lil bit of banter with Green Arrow, as well as some of his move set and his character power. Check it out!
He seems to have a good set of ranged attacks, but is unafraid to bring the heat (okay no more puns, promise) with a powerful set of up close attacks. But this assessment is based purely on what we see in this video where he gets to knock Catwoman and Green Arrow silly.
NetherRealm also shared the game’s microtransaction system that we covered here previously. According to discussions on their forum, it seems the game will be using a currency called Source Crystals. These are primarily for buying non-gaming-changing features. They also emphasized that they are steering away from the “pay to win”, hence why the currency is for cosmetic effect.
