Publisher EA Delivers Details about What Shall Be in the next Star Wars Battlefront – It Will Be “Even Bigger”
After all the criticism regarding Star Wars Battlefront content, Chief Executive Officer Andrew Wilson confirmed that the next installment will indeed be meatier. More game modes, more ways to fight, and a Single-Player campaign. All this on top of confirmation that it will be released this holiday season.
“Even bigger,” were Wilson’s exact words as he elaborated during Electronic Arts’ quarterly financial conference call. Along with more locations, expect to see more heroes. And probably more important for many Star Wars fans, we will see “multiple Star Wars eras.” No doubt, many of use are hoping for incorporation of the Clone Wars. Alas, for all we know, this could simply mean Rebellion vs Empire and Resistance vs First Order generations. But that hardly seems worthy hyping when, so far, there’s little nuance between the two.
Additionally, in order to deliver on the promises of this game, developers DICE, Motive, and Criterion will each bring their skill sets to bear in the next experience. We’ll get to see their innovations towards combat, vehicles(which there will be a lot more of, btw), story, and graphics.
Earlier, we talked about the criticisms leveled against EA and their reaction. The publisher has reiterated how they’ve taken the criticism to heart and currently work to make the next Star Wars Battlefront a much more expansive title. Hence, all of the mentioned additions.
Unless there are delays, expect the next Star Wars Battlefront by the holidays, 2017. As we are guaranteed more game information before then, you can stick around COGconnected for all of the latest. Happy gaming.
