PS4 System Update 4.06
This week we told you how Sony is enjoying a huge boost in console sales thanks to the release of the PS4 Pro. Sales have nearly tripled for PS4 consoles in the UK. Yesterday, Media Create released its weekly estimates for console sales in Japan and the PS4 has seen a boost there as well. Today, Sony released the latest PS4 system update but it isn’t anything to get too excited about.
The latest PS4 firmware update weighs in at approximately 312.3MB. This is great news for those limited hard drive space. As we mentioned above, the update doesn’t really contain any major new additions. Sony’s confirmed the update simply “improves the quality of the system performance,” much like the last few patches.
You’ll need to download PS4 update 4.06 if you want to go online with PlayStation Network, so be sure to boot up your console and grab it as soon as possible.
