Xbox One and Xbox 360 Games with Gold Updated
It’s September 16th and just as it always does in the middle of the month the Games with Gold program has switched up its offerings once again. Yesterday was your last chance to get your hands on Forza Horizon for the 360 and WWE 2K16 for the Xbox One. In its place, you can now pick up the original cult favorite Mirror’s Edge for the 360 and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China for the Xbox One. Of course, all these games are playable on the Xbox One via backwards compatibility.
The other offering for the month, the charming turn-based RPGÂ Earthlock: Festival of Magic, is still available until the end of the month. If you haven’t jumped on this one you really should. You’ve got 15 days to go!
Another surprise has popped up for free as well but it was unannounced and to be quite honest we don’t know how long it will last. One of the best indie platformers from the Xbox 360 generation, Splosion Man is currently free on the Xbox Store. Again, this is an Xbox 360 game that is playable on your Xbox One via backwards compatibility. If you want to get your hands on this one for free you should already be clicking! Go! GO NOW!
Keep it locked to COGconnected in the coming week or so for information on the October Games with Gold offerings.
