2TB Xbox One S Launch Edition is Selling Out, Xbox Won’t Make Any More

2TB Xbox One S is Going, Going, Gone!

Did you miss out on a white 2TB Xbox One S and you can’t find anymore for sale? If you did and would like to purchase a 2TB Xbox One S, you’ve got a lengthy wait on your hands. Eurogamer, who contacted a Microsoft rep, says the Xbox One S launch edition is already sold out at most retailers and the company does not intend to restock stores after they are all gone.

If you can’t find any launch edition consoles and if you still want a 2TB Xbox One S then your only option is the badass blood red Gears of War-themed special edition, which will arrive in limited numbers and in October.

If you aren’t willing to wait until October, you could also pick up either the 500GB or 1TB Xbox One S bundles released later this month (Xbox One S Madden NFL 17 Bundle and the Xbox One S Halo Collection Bundle). Both bundles arrive in stores on August 23 and are available for pre-order now.

On Amazon, there are still white 2TB Xbox One S consoles available but many are from third-party sellers at a higher price.

Xbox One S is the most compact Xbox yet, 40 percent smaller than the original Xbox One, and includes a built-in power supply. Xbox also shifted one of the three USB ports and the pairing button to the front of the Xbox One S alongside the newly added IR blaster for increased accessibility. Beyond the fresh new design, Xbox One S is the first and only console that allows you to watch Blu-ray movies and stream video in stunning 4K Ultra HD with High Dynamic Range (HDR).

Xbox One S also comes bundled with the new Xbox Wireless Controller featuring textured grip, improved Xbox Wireless signal and added Bluetooth support. The controller can be purchased as a standalone item for $74.99 CAD and will also be available on August 2. All Xbox One games, accessories and Xbox Live services will work with Xbox One S.
