This New Technomancer E3 Gives Us A Closer Look Into Mars’ Chaotic Surface
Spiders and Focus Home Interactives’s new sci-fi RPG, The Technomancer is getting close to release, but in the meantime they’ve decided to tease us with one more Technomancer E3 trailer, showing off more of what we can expect from the game. The trailer is set to an energetic cover of “House of The Rising Sun”, and just reveals what exactly a Technomancer is, and what they are going to be getting up to.
Mars is one crummy place to live. It’s a barren wasteland that houses the misfits of Earth. On the red planet, multiple corporations fight for control of the one resource that matters most; Water. You’ll run into all sorts of confrontations as you journey across Mars, faced with factions that are struggling, vastly unexplored territory, and some of the indigenous “wildlife”. The Technomancer E3 trailer shows off just how big these wars are showing to be, and it’s something that you’re no doubt going to get wrapped up in, like it or not.
Technomancers are some serious badasses. They’re formidable warriors, and as the you can see in this Technomancer E3 trailer, you’re well-equipped to kick ass. You can harness some serious electrical power, and as you progress through the Technomancer, you’ll pick up other misfits to travel with, solving quests however you like. Diplomacy, combat, or even some deceitful trickery can help resolve a quest. As you gain experience, your Technomancer will be able to upgrade their skills across 4 different trees, as well as craft more and more potent equipment. Comrades, some kick-ass skills, and some big guns are all going to be required for your time on Mars, and you better be ready for the fight of your life! The Technomancer is releasing for PC, PS4 and Xbox One in 2016, with no clear release date set, but it will be playable at E3, and you can check out COGConnected to find out our impressions..
