The opening ceremony kicked off the Grand Finals with an extravagant show with lasers, smoke and dueling men with sticks dressed in Tron-like outfits — eSports is not taken lightly. The 12 teams consisting of players from around the world are competing to win a chunk of the $300,000 prize. Each match is presented on two maps and fought by playing four rounds, the winner moves up and battles the next winning team until the final two duke it out tomorrow.
Last year, team Hell Raisers took the championship and they are back to hold on to the title but the competition this year is fierce, they are up against team Eclipse who are the youngest team in the competition ranging from 15 to 18 years old but what they lack in age they make up for in skill.
