Dark Souls 3’s release date is only days away. If playing the game is not enough for you Steamforged Games announced that they plan to create a board game based on the Dark Souls universe via Kickstarter.
Steamforge reported the following:
”Steamforged Games is proud to announce we will be working with Bandai Namco Entertainment, developing an exciting board game for the Dark Souls universe.
As Dark Souls fans, we could not be more excited to be given the honour of developing a board game that embraces everything that makes Dark Souls the deep, compelling game experience that it is.
The Dark Souls board game will be launched on Kickstarter during April 2016.”
This isn’t the first From Software game to spin off into the physical realm either. Last year Bloodborne was turned into a card game, though it’s presence in stores was limited. Steamforged works include Guild Ball which ran a successful Kickstarter a few years back.
