This week, Star Wars: The Force Awakens comes out on Blu-ray, and to celebrate, EA and DICE are having a Double XP Weekend for players of Star Wars Battlefront. Beginning April 8th at 1am PST, the event goes until April 10th (Sunday) at 1am PST.
As EA says on its website, “with new weapons and Star Cards recently released in the Outer Rim expansion – or even our new Hutt contracts from Jabba himself – there’s a lot to use this extra currency towards … Get your popcorn ready and controllers charged, because this is a weekend you don’t want to miss.”
This is not the first promotional weekend EA has offered for players of Star Wars Battlefront. In late March, we reported right here that players were rewarded with 5,000 free credits just for logging in as part of a promotion for the Outer Rim DLC.
