New Gears of War 4 Gameplay Reveal
Yesterday the Gears eSports ESL Pro League Season 2 Finals took place at PAX East in Boston. During the Gears of War Season 2 finals The Coalition introduced a new multiplayer Gears of War 4 Gameplay mode named Escalation.
The new mode is aimed and designed for the dedicated competitive user base. True to its name there is a rule set that encourages the build-up of the heat of each match through several rounds towards a climax at the end.
If you want to see it in action, YouTube user ProGear360 recorded the debut matches. His video shows another premiere, the new spectator mode with new cameras, stats on screen and a convenient interface that lets you easily switch to the desired player.

Also as we posted the other day, this coming Monday, April 25, the “Gears of War 4” Versus Multiplayer Beta will open up to all Xbox Live Gold members.
“Gears” fans attending PAX East will also have the opportunity to learn more about “Gears of War 4” Versus Multiplayer during the Out of the Shadows: Inside Gears of War Multiplayer with The Coalition panel on Sunday, Apr. 24 at 10:30am in the Albatross Theater and streamed live on the Gears of War Twitch channel. Fans who show up to the panel in “Gears of War” cosplay will also have the chance to win some great prizes.
