Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor GOTY Edition Now on MAC, Linux

Feral Interactive has announced that the open-world action adventure game Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition is out now on Mac and Linux via Steam, and will be released on the Mac App Store by early August.

Developed by Monolith Productions and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for consoles and Windows, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor has been hugely popular with its open-world environment and dynamic combat system.


Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition contains all DLC previously released for the game, including the Lord of the Hunt and Bright Lord story missions, the Trials of War challenge series, and all the Warband missions, Runes and Skins.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition retails on Steam for US $49.99, £29.99 (inc. VAT) and €49.99 (inc. VAT) and will retail on the Mac App Store for US $49.99, £39.99 (inc. Minimum system requirements for Mac call for a 2.4Ghz CPU with at least 8.0GB RAM, 1GB or better graphics card, and Mac OS 10.10.3 or later. The game requires an AMD R9/7 series graphics card or better, NVIDIA 6xx series or better and Intel Iris Pro series or better.

Minimum system requirements for Linux call for a 2.6Ghz Dual-Core CPU with at least 4.0GB RAM, 1GB or better graphics card, and Ubuntu 14.04 (64bit) or SteamOS. The game requires an NVIDIA 640 graphics card or better. AMD and Intel cards are not supported at this time. A Steam account is required.
