The Zandalari Troll Druids Are Getting Three New Forms Including a Pterodactyl
The Zandalari Trolls are a new Allied Race that are getting added to World of Warcraft in the game’s next expansion, Battle for Azeroth. These trolls can be the same classes as regular trolls, but thanks to some datamining from WoWhead, we can see that players who choose to play a Zandalari troll are getting their own unique druid forms.
For anyone unfamiliar with World of Warcraft’s druids, they have the power to shapeshift into different animals forms, each one of which is tailored for a certain scenario. For example, if the druid was looking to soak up a lot of damage and protect their allies from any enemies, they can shapeshift into a bear. If they were looking to damage enemies instead, they can shapeshift into a feral cat, or a giant, spellcasting owl known as a moonkin.

It’s a great addition to the druid’s arsenal, and also acts as a nice incentive for a player to level up a druid.
World of Warcraft’s upcoming expansion, Battle for Azeroth, will be released to all this summer, with a hopeful, projected release date for September 21st. Both old players and new are looking forward to the game’s newest addition and all of the features that comes with it; there will be new races to play as, scaled levelling to make the process more enjoyable for return players, and lots of different areas to explore with different enemies to stumble upon.
