The Gold Edition for Guacamelee Is Only $1.50 Until April 13th
Despite coming out almost five years ago, Guacamelee is still a game that stands out as a shining example of the Metroid-vania style of games, and today the Developers DrinkBox Studios confirmed Guacamelee 2 will be coming to PC!
To celebrate the sequel’s announcement, Guacamelee’s Gold Edition is currently 90% off on Steam. It seems like now is the perfect time to treat yourself to this fantastic little game. You can pick it up for little over $1 from now until April 13th, and our review believes the game is very worth the purchase!
DrinkBox Studios also dropped a new trailer to confirm the sequel’s arrival on Steam. The trailer confirms the PC version will arrive ‘Soon-ish’, so there’s no concrete date for us to wait for just yet, nor is there any confirmation of a console release alongside the PC launch.

The blurbs on its Steam page state the game will include: ‘full 4-player co-op, fancy new wrestling moves, sassy new bosses, twice the enemies, and 300% more chickens!’ However, it seems that the 4-player co-op will be local only, with no word of any kind of online co-op.
