Guacamelee 2 Gameplay Shown Off
Drinkbox Studios starts us off for Paris Games Week 2017 with a reveal of Guacamelee 2 for PS4. The combo-heavy luchador Metroidvania’s return is a welcome sight.
In addition to the reveal trailer, we got a peek at a gameplay trailer for the upcoming sequel. One huge talking point of the gameplay trailer was the new chicken mechanics. Like the first game, characters gain the ability to turn into chickens. However, chickens can now do a few more actions including taking the fight to enemies with combos. We got to see the chicken glide across arenas and use a move called “chicken shot” too.
