Fourth Episode of the Vampyr Webseries Reveals an Official Release Date This June

Dontnod Has Revealed a June Release Date for Vampyr

Last week, we told you about some new details shared in Dontnod Entertainment’s four-part web series on Vampyr with a look at Episode 3: Human After All. Now, as the webseries comes to a close with it’s fourth and final episode, we’ve learned more about the story, and a release date has been finally been revealed.

To celebrate the upcoming release of the newest title from the developers behind Life is Strange, they have been giving fans an inside look each week via a free Vampyr webseries on Youtube. In this final episode Dontnod explains “what makes videogames unique compared to other storytelling mediums, as well as their signature approach to narrative.” As the webseries draws to a close, Dontnod has revealed that the release date is set for June 5th of this year!

In addition to the big launch date reveal, the fourth episode also delved deeper into the story. In the last episode, Narrative Director Stéphane Beauverger explains that the player will be enthralled with the intricate gameplay systems within Vampyr. As such, exploration, investigations, combat, player encounters and all the choices are intertwined with the game’s narrative. Phillippe Moreau, Game Director, elaborated further stating that the feeling of control and the relationship between a player and their character, are unique to the gaming industry and he has worked to make this even more special within Vampyr.
