A Big Bite

The vampire survival game, V Rising, has taken the world by storm and apparently it’s not slowing down just yet. This means that the game has amassed this giant following in two weeks. A press release celebrates this milestone and provides more info on the game.

V Rising is a top-down survival game where players take on the role of a fledgling vampire.  Your goal is to become the next Dracula of a wide fantasy world. Of course, as a vampire, the world has it out for you. You will be hunted, not only by humans, but by your own kind. You will need to feed on blood to gain new powers, collect resources to build your castle, and hide from daylight or turn into ash. With many weapons, abilities, and skills players can also develop their own playstyle. Obviously this gameplay is very appealing to the, now massive, audience of 1.5 million.

In addition to the mass amount of players currently bloodletting in V Rising, the game is also highly rated. Currently, with over 20,000 reviews, the game has an 88% positive rating on Steam. Players interested in the game are able to check out the V Rising Early Access Launch trailer.

V Rising is currently available on PC via Steam Early Access. Currently the game is available for $22.79. So are you looking forward to joining the ranks of blood sucking fiends in V Rising? Or are vampire fangs just not your style?
