Don’t Miss the Voting Window for Double Fine Game Jam Amnesia Fortnight, Ending Tomorrow

Don’t Miss the Voting Window For Double Fine Game Jam Amnesia Fortnight, Pay What You Want for the Humble Bundle and Vote for the Games You Want to Be Built into Prototypes

Get hype! Double Fine has kicked off Amnesia Fortnight, the Humble Bundle all-out game jam where the Double Fine devs all get together and pitch their game ideas, then players who contribute to the Humble Bundle package to pay what they want (as long as it’s at least $1) for the opportunity to vote on their favorite games they want these said Double Fine developers to create! The voting window for the pitches is closing in though, and the cut-off period for Double Fine game Jam Amnesia Fortnight is listed as tomorrow, April 7th at 10am Pacific! When it’s all said and done, the top 4 games that got the most votes will be made into playable prototypes for everyone who contributed. How snazzy is that?

If you want to pay a whole, entire $5, you can get prototypes from Double Fine’s Amnesia Fortnight 2012 and 2014 prototypes and a 2 Player Productions daily videos set. With $15, you can get full-on 100% Double Fine games like Costume Quest and Hack ‘n’ Slash, along with the Pendleton Ward/Double Fine Amnesia Fortnight collaboration, Little Pink Best Buds.

You have until April 7th to vote for your favorite ideas to be prototyped, so jump in while you can! On April 10th, the finalists will be announced, and the devs will start building the prototypes from April 12-25th. Games like Urchin Squad, a 4-player co-op made up of a team of superhero hackers, Fresh, the 3D dance game where you battle local dance crews, and I Have No Idea What I’m Doing, the fast-paced VR party game where you have no idea what you’re doing and you must rely on the help of your friends outside of the VR headset to figure out, well, what the heck you’re supposed to be doing.

The bundle ends April 28th, so if you miss the voting window, you can still grab the prototypes of the 4 finalists until then!
