Check out the First Round of PS4 Games Revealed for PS Now

The Closed Beta Stage of PS Now Seems a Bit Modest

Not long ago, PlayStation made their big announcement about including PS4 games in their PS Now subscription service. At the time, we were in the dark concerning which games would arrive. Well, as the closed beta is currently underway, we have been shown the first list of playable titles.

Herein is the first wave of games as revealed courtesy of King Thrash Gaming:

  • Killzone Shadowfall
  • Entwined
  • Hohokum
  • Helldivers
  • Escape Plan
  • Knack
  • Counterspy
  • The Unfinished Swan
  • Resogun
  • Doki Doki Universe
  • Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition
  • Sound Shapes
  • Super Stardust Ultra
  • Hardware Rivals (indie

You were probably hoping for some Bloodborne, Uncharted 4, or something of the like. A few lesser known names in here, not including Knack and Guerilla Games’ last Killzone.

Seeing as this is barely the closed beta stage, we should expect to wait a little longer before more critically acclaimed titles reach PS Now. Perhaps we’ll have more games when we learn about a release date. It is difficult to say when that will be, aside from within 2017. We’ll keep you posted as we near the major names in PS Now’s new cadre of PS4 releases.

Since we suspect PlayStation is trying to compete with Xbox Game Pass, we doubt they will withhold their major exclusives for long. We might see The Last of Us: Remastered soon. Who knows. But for more of the latest, simply stay tuned to COGconnected. Happy gaming.
