The Force is Strong With This Charity
The brand new Star Wars Humble Bundle III allows fans to score a bunch of great PC games while donating to charity. It seems that the Humble Bundle site has set it so that all proceeds from the sales generated under the Humble Bundle III will be donated to UNICEF.
The charity event is all part of the Star Wars: Force For Change initiative, a philanthropic group composed of Lucas Films and Disney. The goal of the group is that, as stated on their site, “Star Wars: Force for Change aims to support the immense passion and goodwill of our fans and promote change through inspiration, stories, and meaningful partnerships.”
Apart from helping to support a good cause, the Humble Bundle III itself has some great games in it. Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, Star WarsThe Force Unleashed: The Ultimate Sith Edition, and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II are just a few of the great title available. The bundle breaks down the games into four categories: Pay What You Want/$1+, about $10, $14+, and $35+. Ultimately, there is $157 dollars worth of loot with the ultimate bundle prize being an X-Wing Vs. TIE Fighter T-Shirt. All the titles are redeemable on Steam and are priced as follows:
