Watch Dogs 2 DLC Release Date Has Been Delayed!

Ubisoft Announces a New Release Date for the “T-Bone” DLC for Watch Dogs 2

As some fans may recall, Ubisoft originally promised that the first DLC for Watch Dogs 2 would be available for PS4 owners on December 13th. Unfortunately, Ubisoft has announced that the “T-Bone” DLC for will be available on PlayStation 4 on December 22nd, and January 24th for PC and Xbox One.

While this is disappointing news for players, Ubisoft has offered a reason for the delay stating that they had to pull development resources away from the DLC in order to fix the various multiplayer issues the game has been experiencing. Since the multiplayer component of the game was broken at launch, they had to spend a lot of extra time fixing all of the problems, and weren’t able to focus on the post-launch DLC content as they had originally hoped.

The T-Bone DLC is themed after a fan favorite character, T-Bone and comes with plenty of new content. Included in the DLC is a new co-op mode, new T-Bone attire for Marcus Holloway, a new vehicle and a new enemy to fight. All of this content is available for players to bring into the online world, wrecking havoc with other like-minded players.

Along with the DLC expansion, Ubisoft is launching the T-Bone Chaos Event during the same week the DLC is released for PS4, on December 19th. This event is scheduled to last four weeks, and will allow players to unlock bonus cosmetic items for Marcus and vehicles alike. It will also be interesting to see if this event may be extended for Xbox One and PC players to enjoy as well. Hopefully this event, paired with the new DLC will make the wait for the content worth it for Watch Dogs 2 enthusiasts. Stay tuned for more details as they arrive.
