Top 10 LEGO Video Games
It wasn’t always this way but these days LEGO and video games go together like peanut butter and jelly. If there’s a pop culture phenomenon it seems like the team over at LEGO are on top of it and ready to make a game. From the first LEGO-based game released in 1997, LEGO Island to the newest, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens there have been a whopping 65 LEGO video games so far and the bad boys of brick building don’t show any signs of slowing down. Now COGconnected hasn’t been around since 1997, but we have been around reviewing games for over 5 years now so we decided to throw together a list of our top 10 reviewed mainline LEGO video games for your enjoyment!
Many might say that the LEGO games have lost their charm. After all, there really isn’t too much difference in gameplay from title to title it seems. The last bug changes we saw was the addition of voice over work (and what an addition that was), and the release of LEGO Dimensions which took the tried and true formula adding on the toys-to-life spin. All we can say for sure it that we look forward to seeing what else LEGO has in store for us over the nest few years.
